KanCraft JobQ Alerts
KanCraft JobQ Alerts is an internal text message program for the owners of KanCraft Metal Fabrication. It is not offered to customers or the public.
Effective October 12, 2026
What the program sends
Operational alerts from JobQ, our in-house production system: after-hours security camera alerts (a person or vehicle detected at the shop while it is closed) and status notices from shop machines such as the laser cutter. It never sends marketing or promotional messages.
Who receives them
Only company owners. Each owner opts in on the Security Alerts screen in JobQ by entering their own mobile number and ticking a consent box (see how owners opt in). Nobody is texted before opting in. The first message confirms the enrollment.
Message frequency and cost
Message frequency varies with events at the shop. Message and data rates may apply.
Stopping and help
Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts; you will get one message confirming it. Reply HELP for help, or email info@kancraftmfg.com.
Carriers
Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy
Mobile numbers and text message opt-in data are never shared with, sold or rented to third parties for marketing. See our privacy policy.
Who runs it
KanCraft JobQ Alerts is run by Bad Idea Holdings LLC and its affiliate MIJ LLC (KanCraft Metal Fabrication) of Girard, Kansas, which have the same owners.
